| Description: | Bolt hanger is extremely bent. This is the bolt that protects the first crux of the route, and I see climbers falling on this bent hanger frequently. I believe this is some sort of expansion bolt, probably 3/8", and the bolts are likely fairly old on the entire route. The route may not need new bolts, but the fourth may need a new bolt entirely, not just a new hanger. It would probably be good to switch to a sturdy glue in by extending/widening the hole and using a 10mm glue in bolt |
