The rock appears to be soft and and breaking where the bolt has been placed. A few hairline fractures radiate from the bolt. Where the bolt meets the rock, it seems that a small divot or concavity of grainy/sandy rock is developing. I did not have my phone to take a photo, but the issue appears to be well-captured by Colin's report a year ago (Apr 19 2021). Perhaps the divot/soft rock is a bit more exposed than in last year's photo; given conditions and the photo it's hard to tell. I'm not an expert so perhaps the superficial appearance is misleading, however, it appears severe to the best of my judgment. |
