| Description: | Both screw-gate carabiners that attach to the anchors on Lick the Window are extremely worn & rusted. Primarily the left carabiner but both show significant wear and half way rusted through. Recent heavy rains in the area have toppled overgrown cactus that once obscured direct line of sight with these carabiners & anchors. Route was marked at the deck level with an X in climbing tape with "Bad Anchors" written on it trying to deter climbing until issue is resolved. Photos / word of caution will be posted to local online climbing forums as well. Take care, stay safe! |

I replaced the sport clips and Quicklinks. Bolts need monitoring through the next few months to years.
