The rap rings are about 50% worn in multiple places. It was an easy rap off the chains but if someone doesn't know any better they may continue to TR the rings and have a really bad day. I had links with me but the rap rings are welded directly through the chain links so I had no way to remove them from the system. If I can get back out there next weekend (8.9.14), I will take something to cut the rings and place a bomber SS 1/2 quicklink at the bottom of each chain. Thought you guys should know what's going on with the top of that climb. |
