| Description: | Not sure on the opinions on these anchors, but both anchor bolts look pretty rusted. The entire bolt is brown with rust, on both anchor bolts. |

I have looked at these anchors recently. The rust seems to be surface only and the anchors seem very thick and solid. Pre-stainless anchors like this were designed to rust and then the rust provides a protective layer. Rust where metal is flaking off or the underlying metal is not solid would be of more concern. Eventually we will replace all non-stainless anchors with stainless steel but these anchors should be perfectly safe for years to come.
